Expansion
New offerings from my newsletter
Hi — it’s Cody.
My move to Substack is now complete, and you can find the entire back catalogue of Coach Craft here.
While I will continue to publish my free weekly newsletter as usual, I also wanted the ability to write about more expansive and explorative coaching topics.
And so, I’ve added a membership tier to the newsletter. Here’s how it will look:
Free Tier
Nothing changes. You will continue to receive my weekly Coach Craft newsletter, where I document the wisdom hidden away in coaching autobiographies. For the record: I’ve read 120 out of my list of 244 books, so there’s another couple of years of free content coming.
Membership Tier
Deep Craft is Cody’s personal newsletter, where I will document what I’m seeing in the field, write about contemporary coaching challenges, investigate new research, and share tools that I use with my clients.
One of the reasons for me joining Substack was the ability to embed videos right into my newsletters. This allows me to create How-To Videos to cover modern craft topics, or add detail to popular coaching discussions.
Cody’s Mailbag has always been one of my most popular articles, and now members will have the exclusive ability to ask me questions about coaching, business, books, and more.
Coach Radio is my return to podcasting, a space I haven’t occupied since Where Others Won’t finished in late 2021. This won’t be a public podcast, however. It will be exclusively available to members. Coming soon.
When I started writing Coach Craft my intent was to give away all of my coaching notes. But as I started to get into a groove of writing about coaching autobiographies, I noticed that my stack of notes weren’t dwindling at all.
If anything, my notes have expanded over the last two years. Expanding beyond the weekly written newsletter is one way I can get those notes to you faster.
If that sounds interesting to you, there are three new member-only posts up:
The Kroenke Question: the one thing you should ask the owner before taking a job
The No Excuses List: how to guarantee you stay active on road trips
I have more to give, so this is my new space to give it all to you.
